That aspect of the toy was what I wanted to try. Direct stimulation can often be too much for me or just not the sensation I desire.
The Womanizer started as a husband-and-wife team who were looking to help close the orgasm gap. German inventor, Michael Lenke, with his wife Brigitte developed this new form of vibrator and launched it in 2013. Blame the German to English translation for the bad name, but Brigitte named the device with the goal of showing that this was a “woman” focused toy, solely for clitoris owners.
The Starlet Snow is an amazing little powerhouse. It is one of their best sellers and is backed with a 5-year warranty. It’s the smallest of their toys at only three inches long. There are four levels of intensity, and boy can they be intense! It’s small enough to be a very easy travel vibrator. I never go on a trip without it now.
When I got it, I was very excited to open and try my new toy. It came in discreet packaging and included the Starlet with the silicone stimulator head attachment, a USB charging cable, and instruction manual. It’s small and white with silver accents. The vibrator is ergonomic. Some vibrators must be held at odd angles and gripped tightly which can cause my hand to cramp. This does neither. The air pulses also mean that your clit won’t experience that numbness that can occur from over stimulation with a direct contact vibrator. After following the instructions for initial cleaning and charging it for 3 hours as recommended, I was ready to go.
Pressing the power button for about 3 seconds turns it on at the lowest setting. Then every time you quickly press/click the button again it ramps up to the next level. Three clicks reach the highest level and then one more press starts it over. Press and hold for 3 seconds to turn it back off.
The directions recommend placing the stimulator head directly over the clitoris. That is too much stimulation for me. I must place mine slightly above the clitoris nub along the hood. When I’m doing a quick masturbation session, I tend to ramp it up to the highest level until I cum. But I have learned that to lengthen the duration of my orgasm, I shift the vibration down to the lowest level at the peak of my orgasm and I can tease out a lot more pulses of pleasure. The directions say not to use it for longer than 15 minutes in one area but frankly, I can’t imagine how many times I would orgasm in that span of time with this toy. Maybe more field testing is required. You know… For Science! But in the end, this isn’t going to be your go-to toy for those long leisurely exploration sessions.
Overall, this is a great toy for reliable and efficient orgasms. It’s great for a quick vibe before the little cockblockers come home or before going out for an evening. Its small size is great for travel and solo play. However, if you have dexterity issues and need the assistance of a partner or just want to involve them, the Starlet isn’t going to be the best option. It is difficult for a partner to hold and control. Success is determined by precise placement. This is not a horseshoes and hand grenades kind of toy like some others.
The charge doesn’t last for hours and amount of charge the battery holds seems a bit unpredictable. However, the Starlet is so good at getting me off quickly that I rarely have it die on me, unless I haven’t charged it in a while. It probably wouldn’t happen as often if the micro-USB charger cord was easier to get inserted in the dark when you’re in post orgasmic bliss trying to go to bed and foolishly tell myself I’ll do it in the morning. Though usually I usually charge it after about three or four sessions. This little toy has held up and hasn’t shown any effects of use. I’ve owned mine for over two years now, and it’s still running strong.

It’s a little pricier for someone looking for their first toy, and as it is solely for clitoral use, it doesn’t have the versatility that some other toys have. Not all clitoris owners, like this style of stimulation, but my clit certainly does! I would love to try some of the other Womanizer products to truly compare, but the Starlet Snow is a great introduction to a “clit-sucker” vibrator.
