Get Stuffed with Buck
Skin in the Game: A Toybox Tease
It’s November, and Thanksgiving is fast approaching. It’s a time to count some of the things for which we feel grateful. I’m so thankful for the freedom of my sexual expression and exploration through non-monogamy. I’m also thankful for the support of my husband throughout all our adventures. And of course, I’m thankful for our toybox and the ways in which the contents help us stretch our sexuality. Thanksgiving is also a time to get stuffed Hopefully in more ways than just food! So, I thought I would start off this month’s dive into the toybox by reviewing one of my favorite dildos to “get stuffed” with, the Vixen Creations Buck VixSkin.
I’ve never been a huge fan of dildos, especially for masturbation. You must maneuver your hands into a weird angle and do all this extra work while also rubbing your clit. They all felt fake and cold to me and not like actual skin. You could fuck them while squatting, but I’m not looking to have a cardio session when I masturbate. Compared to vibrators with all their lovely rumbly feelings, the simple dildo felt, well…simple. So, I was a tad hesitant to add another dildo to our collection when my husband asked me if we wanted to try this one. This was back when we were just considering stepping into the lifestyle, and to be honest, this dildo helped get me a little closer to wanting to explore more.
We had some very frank discussions about how my body had changed post-childbirth. I had some nerve damage that changed the way my body experiences pleasure. This meant that sex between us had changed. He has always maintained that his penis is average sized or slightly below, but until I got into the lifestyle, his was the largest penis I had experienced. He wanted me to experience a larger penis than his, but I was worried that fucking a bigger guy, coupled with the changes to our sex life, might make me less inclined to have sex with my husband. If that happened, what would that mean for our relationship? This fear really had me stuck, so we decided to use toys to explore the idea of me fucking someone with a larger penis than my husband.
With that in mind, we wanted a dildo with a more realistic feeling, a longer insertable length, and larger girth. We also knew we wanted one with an upward curve and a well-defined mushroom head to better hit my g-spot. I also didn’t really want it to have balls. The Buck by Vixen Creations fit that bill. It’s made from a proprietary 100% silicone formula which is designed to feel very realistic, retain body heat, is easy to clean, has a harness compatible base, and is body safe. They recommend only using a water-based lube as opposed to silicone or hybrid lube, which can cause a chemical breakdown.
It is made of dual density silicone, which is what gives it that realistic feeling. Dual density silicone is basically a firmer core of silicone with a squishier layer of silicone layered on top. Care should be taken because the softer top layer can be damaged. According to their website, “Silicone, while durable, is not invincible…Basically, anything that could cause micro abrasions or tears on the surface of the toy should be avoided.” Like most silicone toys, the Buck needs to be stored carefully away from other silicone toys and most plastic bags.
The Buck’s dimensions make it a great toy for me, especially at the time we bought it because it wasn’t super intimidating for someone who was looking for a modest “level up.” Its angle curves upwards and just nails my g-spot. It has an insertable length of 6 inches, and the head of the dildo is about 1.75” in diameter, while the shaft is 1.9” at its base. Normally, I shy away from the realistic dildos, preferring brighter colors to a skin tone. However, as we were trying to feed into the fantasy of me having sex outside of our relationship, the more realistic skin tone colors were fun to explore. The Buck does come in tie-dye color called Tie Bright and a black and blue swirl color called Midnight Pearl, in addition to the skin tones called Vanilla, Caramel, and Chocolate.
This is a high-quality toy, and the price reflects it. The Buck is still the largest dildo we own so far. (I need to work on changing that.) The circular base makes it easy to use in a harness for both pegging and vaginal sex. The base also functions as a suction cup in case you want to slap it against the shower wall for some me-time.
Final Rundown:
Pros
- Dual Density silicone
- Easy to clean
- Retains body heat
- Harness Compatible
Cons
- Higher price point
- Extra care and storage considerations
- Lube restrictions
Overall, this dildo has been a fantastic addition to our toybox. I give it a score of 4.5 out of 5. The Buck is the dildo I reach for more than any other. We both love the stretched feeling we get from this toy, and it served our intended purpose. After experiencing this dildo, I became more open to the idea of having sex with someone who was equally equipped. I learned that while I enjoy the toy and all the pleasure it gives me, it will never replace the emotional and sexual connection I have with my husband.
